Award Winning Faculty

The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia has just announced the recipients of the 2012 Outstanding Faculty Award. Out of 125 applications from Virginia's public and private colleges and universities, only 12 were chosen, and we are proud to report that two Mason faculty members have been selected for this prestigious honor: Dr. Giorgio Ascoli (Krasnow Institute for Advanced Study) and Dr. Robert Hazen (Robinson Professor, Earth Sciences).

This award is not only a credit to their exceptional achievements, but it is also evidence of the amazing work happening here at Mason. Congratulations!
